ode to lucky

So this post may just be dumb but I had to write something about one of my favorite dogs Lucky. Lucky is Nate's parents lab mix dog and he is so great. I was reminded of how great he was this weekend. Lucky loves everyone no matter what and is so good with Mya. When most older dogs (Curly for example) get around Mya she drives them up the wall. All she wants to do is play the whole time, biting and barking and jumping and humping! Lucky just takes it, plays with her for a while, and then just lets her play while he lies there looking at me like "man she is annoying!" When Mya and Rocky (the other family puppy) start fighting, Lucky immediately barks and seperates the brawl. When we go to Riverton we always joke that Lucky will be babysitting Mya all weekend. All you have to do is put Mya outside with him and she is good and safe. Even though he sheds a lot, has oily fur, and has pretty nasty breath I love Lucky and he is such a good dog. I think I may be obsessed with dogs!!! Here is a great shot we took the first day Lucky and Mya met.
