I can't believe Christmas is already over.
I am procrastinating taking the tree down, much to Nate's dismay.
We spent Christmas eve and morning down at Nate's moms house. Lucas came down with a fever on Christmas eve so I spent much of the night worrying about the poor little guy. We were up most of the night with him too, but he still seemed pretty happy Christmas morning. I can't wait until next year when he knows a little more what is going on. He still seemed a little excited and loved to eat the wrapping paper!
Nate had to work the rest of Christmas, so my mom, dad, sister and her husband came over and we had our own Christmas at my house. My dad cooked us prime rib for dinner that was spectacular! It was a lot of fun and nice to be at home.
We totally got some sweet gifts this year, we were spoiled. The best gift of all was our new imac. My laptop just wasn't doing so good so we splurged and got an imac. I have been wanting one for so long and I absolutely love it. Nate's mom got us a new desk to go with it too and the new version of photoshop which I was so excited for! Lucas was more spoiled than everyone and got lots of clothes, books, and toys. I swear that kid has more clothes than me! Thanks family for such a great Christmas!
The week before Christmas Nate graduated with his LPN. He played it down like it wasn't a big deal but they really had like a huge graduation ceremony and everything! Luke and I were there alone to cheer for him. He is half way done with the RN program now, only 8 more months to go. I really can't wait! He still has to pass the LPN boards but after that he gets a sweet raise which will be nice. GOOD JOB NATE!

Merry Christmas! Sounds like you and your kiddo both got really spoiled. Congrats to Nate on graduating - that is awesome! I am excited to see you guys this weekend.
yeah nate!! that is so great, only 8 more monts, that's got to be a good feeling. mmm and your parents cooking, that sounds even better
