Finally blogging about Easter.
As usual we headed out to Roosevelt to my Aunt and Uncles house.
This year the weather was actually nice! There were tons of kids there this year and Lucas played his little heart out. It is so fun that he is at the age where he actually plays with the other kids. I didn't see him the whole time we were there! He was definitely worn out by the end. We had tons of fun dying eggs (didn't have my camera of course) playing games, eating lots of good food, and hunting for eggs.
Lucas totally loved the egg hunt this year. He actually understood what was going on and raced as fast as he could to get those eggs.
Unfortunately with all that running there was bound to be some falls.
He fell once after he just found an egg and completely smashed it, he was totally devastated. He sat on the grass for a while pouting, and it took him a while to get back into the action.
Poor kiddo, and of course I had to get a photo of it!
Luckily he found one of the coolest eggs after which brightened his day!
Lucas also couldn't get enough of the candy. Every time I saw him he had a huge mouthful of candy. I actually caught him sneaking some from other kids baskets too, already taking after his grandpa!
Man holidays are more fun with kids!

Umm I noticed the Reese's eggs in his basket. If those were around, I would be stealing them from other kids' baskets too!
