Man I am so behind on blogging.

I guess that's summer for ya!

 We had a low key 4th of July and it was great.

Lucas was in the Farr West parade with his preschool so we headed to that.

I am an amazing mom and have never taken Lucas to a parade. He had no idea what it even was!

Seemed like he had a blast on the float.

Emily wasn't so sure about the whole thing and just enjoyed the popsicle and candy.

I didn't get any pictures during the fireworks but it was hilarious!

Emily didn't move a muscle except if it got to bright or loud then she would squint her little eyes and scrunch up her nose. At the end she just turned to me and gave me the biggest smile. 

I think she enjoyed them!

Nate's aunt and uncle took us out on their boat one evening. The weather was perfect! It was such a nice evening.

Emi still hasn't decided if she likes water or not yet. She always has this look of concern on her face whenever we are playing in it. These pics just make me laugh. She never cracked a smile which is totally not her style, she is always smiling!


She was so hard at work playing with the sand.

Lucas loved playing in the water and riding on the tube behind the boat.

Last but not least..

My sweet little girl got all 4 of her top teeth at once.

She was pretty miserable for a week or so.

One night after dinner she had had it. She was just so sad!

I looked over and Nate had turned on some music and was dancing with her.

She laid her little head down on his shoulder, inserted her thumb into her mouth, and just laid there for quite a while. It was so stinking cute I could hardly stand it. 

Nate loves his little girl so much!
