I spent 5 glorious days in warm and sunny Phoenix.
I came home to cold and hazy Utah.
Lucas and I had such a great time visiting my friend Tara last weekend.
He was a champ on the airplane, and I learned that generally people are very nice and helpful.
Everyone on the plane couldn't believe how good a baby he was and how well he did! Good job little buddy, you are a champ.
We spent the weekend relaxing and just having a good time.
Tara was a great hostess, I think Lucas really likes her!
Some highlights of the trip....We went with Tara to the gym she works at to take a mother baby class. He absolutely loved it! All of the other kids were a little older than him but he didn't seem to care. He loved being flipped around and sang too and we even learned some tricks to help him crawl. And he got a ribbon at the end.
We found a huge mall to shop in and ate dinner at an amazing Chinese restaurant called Flo's, highly recommend it.
We fed the ducks at a pond and got some cute pictures. I loved the weather down there!

The best part was just being outside.
While Tara was at work we would play out on the grass and soak up the rays.
The last day there I decided it was warm enough, so we put on the suits and headed to the pool. It was like heaven on earth!
Lucas absolutely loved the pool. Heck it's a big bathtub how could he not love it.
Can't wait until this summer to take him swimming all the time.

It was hard to leave, but we were so excited to see dad when we got home! I think he missed us.
It was a much needed vacation and I want to go back! Thanks Tara for treating us so well.

Looks like a fun, fun trip! We were in San Diego last week and it was so nice and warm and I kept telling Jake, "Why do we live in Utah, again?" Lucas is pretty adorable! (And no worries about the white skin...I know I understand!)

Yeah I am a total fan of AZ. It was so warm and sunny, Utah is so gross right now I hate it! I've never experienced a AZ summer though!
Hooray for coming to visit me!!!! Those pics are sooooo cute! You will have to e-mail them onto me! Thanks again for coming to visit me and keep me company while my hubbie was gone!!! You are a life saver.... or at least a sanity saver! Love you and come visit again soon.... the sun misses you and your amazing white legs:)
