So this has got to be the sweetest toy ever! My dad got it from a guy at work who restores vintage toys. I was so stoked for Lucas to be old enough to actually ride in it. It has pedals but he is still a little too small, he loved sitting in it though!
I know I do this every month but it's for the sake of journaling!
Lucas is 11 months old! How do I make time slow down?
Lucas has picked up some pretty funny things lately. He loves to give kisses and will come up with a wide open mouth and pretty much lick your face. It's slobbery but I love it. He is a pretty snuggly kid and when he is tired or just woke up he will just sit on your lap relax. It doesn't last for very long so I try to enjoy every minute of it!
He is walking so well but still chooses to crawl a lot, I think he knows it is so much faster. Every once in a while he just walks across the whole room and into the next like it's no big deal.
Lucas is such a friendly kid, he smiles at anyone and everyone! I can't get over what a happy baby he is.
He gets so excited when he sees other babies and immediately goes straight up to them and grabs their face, most kids begin to cry and he just crawls away happily! We are working on being gentle!
Keeping the kid entertained has become a little more difficult, any advice on one year old friendly activities would be greatly appreciated!
He is pretty busy but I absolutely love just sitting and watching him explore and learn. He cracks me up all the time. One more month buddy and you made it to the big 1!

That truck is awesome. I remember having the same problem - coming up with ideas to keep a one year old entertained. To tell you the truth, I still don't know what we did...but we survived. LOL.
Cute truck! He is still like Ava and a total toehead. Gotta love those round bald heads. The best entertainment for a kid is a pet, (which you already have) and then next is a sibling!
oooohh boy. max is sitting on my lap yelling, fire truck, fire truck!! oh man. now he's pointing and crying..... he wants it sooo bad!:)

bonus points for GRANDPA Marshall... I wonder what other toys he has up his sleeve for his grandson! I seem to remember with Ellie that I just baby proofed everything and gave her the run of whatever room she was in. She loves books, music and balls... you wouldn't believe how many balls are in my house! Keep it up Brynn... he is turning into one handsome kid!
That is the by far the coolest toy I've seen in a while. He even knows the fire hose should go in his mouth :).
