I realize that I post lots of pictures of my child.
Oh well, I'm doing it again!
Since Nate's sister is here from Texas for a few weeks we decided to meet up at the zoo.
I haven't been to Hogle zoo in years and it was great!

I thought Luke would be a little too young and not get it but I was wrong.
He really loved looking at all the animals, especially the monkeys.
Nate thought it would be hilarious to let Lucas feed the monkeys, even though there are signs everywhere that tell you not too.
Some of the little monkeys were picking the leaves off of a tree that was outside of their cage and eating them.
Nate decided to help them out and picked a leaf,
gave it to Lucas, and let them take it from Lucas' hand.
Nice.

There's the leaf

And the leaf is gone, the monkey is enjoying himself.

I think my child may be freakishly tall, these two are only a month apart!

There was cute little playground and Lucas loved climbing into the toys.

As soon as we entered the zoo Nate regressed back to being a five year old.
Nice shades dude!

I had to force the guy to leave the zoo, he wanted to stay longer and keep looking at the animals!

We rode on the carousel too. I thought Lucas would flip, but after going around a few times he actually liked it.

Nate tried to snap some pics as we were coming around, isn't this picture sweet of Steph and Taven? Nice photo skills boy!
Photobucket
Just checking out the bears.
Photobucket
Does the bear look like it is smiling?

After the zoo we decided to hit up a restaurant that was on Diners Drive ins and Dives, and it was great. It is called Moochies Meatballs and they have the best meatball sandwich ever! I highly recommend it! It looks pretty scary from the outside and we even contemplated leaving and going somewhere else, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt and headed in and boy were we glad! Check it out!

The zoo is so much fun - Ross had more fun than Anna I think - especially with all of the monkeys ;) Your pictures turned out great. There is a reason why the show is called Diners Drive ins and DIVES. The place Chelsie and I went to was a dive too, but the gyro was oh so tasty. Gotta love some sketchy good food ;)

Oh goodness these pics make me homesick! You got some really good ones too. Lucas is getting so big and I'm assuming just as on the go as Taven is. There is no end to the energy! I love you guys and can't wait to see you again.
