Summer buzzin!
So I told Nate that Lucas needed a haircut, I didn't mind if we buzzed it but Nate took it to the extreme. He buzzed it so short he looks like he doesn't have any hair! His hair is so blonde anyway that you really can't even see it. I wasn't too happy but it has grown on me. I didn't catch an after picture but I love the look on his face on this picture even if it is a little blurry!
I absolutely love where we live! It really is the most beautiful place. All we have to do is walk a few blocks up our street and there are all sorts of trails to hike on. We headed up one trail that leads to an amazing waterfall. Nate packed Lucas the whole way up, and it gets pretty dang steep! I was so impressed with how good Lucas was in his pack. He just sat there looking around taking in the scenery.
He was way interested in all the rocks and of course tried to eat all of them too!
I think he was trying to feed Mya the rock also!
Mya is the best hiker ever. She loves it so much and we can just let her off leash and she stay right by us!
She does get a little too daring and climbs up on big rock ledges. Crazy pup!
Isn't that waterfall amazing! There was tons of mist all around it too. I have never seen it running that hard. Such an amazing hike.
If anyone ever wants to come hike it with us let us know. It is a lot of fun!

At least with little boys hair if you cut it too short it won't take as long to grow it back out. He looks cute anyway. That hike looks like a lot of fun. Maybe I will come hike it with you in a couple of weeks and pack Anna with me and see if I can induce my own labor ;) You might think I am joking now - but let's remember how I hiked a mountain and cut down a Christmas tree when I was prego with Anna in hopes my labor would start. We all know how that one went.
ah i miss having trails right out my door! i'm impressed nate carried lucas the whole way! atta boy!!
