What's up with this weather lately?
I was loving the warm weather, going to the park every day, playing outside, eating great veggies from the garden. Then in one day the temperature just dropped and I'm not liking it!
One day after it had rained really really hard I had to get our, so once it let up we headed outside and guess what Lucas found?
Yup a nice worm on the ground (I think Nate may have pointed it out to him).
He thought it was the coolest thing ever, YUK!
He is seriously all boy, it kills me.
Let's all pray for a little bit nicer weather before winter comes. I want to enjoy the fall!

haha! Did Lucas end up squishing it? I want to enjoy the fall too! I'm already missing running outside with my barefeet.
ps. Do you still want to have a playdate sometime? You and Tiff should drive down and we could get Chels and Megs to meet us up somewhere or just come over and chill at my house. I feel like I havent seen you in ages!
I KNOW! I was telling Ross how much I love the Fall and that day the temps dropped and our garden went to pot, he was like, 'why do you like this?!' I had to defend myself saying that this was more like Fall going into Winter. It feels like we skipped the transition from Summer to Fall. Any who, longest random comment...
Anna is the same way with spiders, worms, slugs - anything. And I have to pretend to not be grossed out by it so that she won't be afraid of them...which is hard for me :)
Oh and I ditto Barbs comment. Come down and play - or we can meet up somewhere! Whatev. I also need to call you and figure out when is good for you to take our family pics. Man, am I a hassle of a friend or what?!
I am super impressed with your photography Brynn, i have no idea how you do your magic but i love those pics of Lucas.
Gross. Those pictures give me the hebie gebies a little. It is good that he isn't afraid though. Way to be a brave kiddo. Hey I might be flying home for a quick visit around the 24th of october if you all want to plan your little play date for around then maybe I could drop in.
haha, he is so cute, and hilarious. when coop sees bugs he is fascinated...but never wants to touch them himself. Unless it's via stick or what not. i'm excited to see you guys in a couple days
