We decided to attempt a Christmas tree even though we knew that Lucas will probably pull all the ornaments off at least a million times.
So far he has been pretty good, a lot better than I anticipated.
This is from when we decorated our tree.
For some reason he thinks that any light in the world is hot, so you can only imagine what he was doing and saying when I wrapped the lights around his neck. It is so funny when he says hot too, he always whispers it and really emphasizes the "t" at the end. It's hilarious.
We also helped Nate's mom decorate her tree this weekend. Her tree is unbelievable! I absolutely love it and could sit and stare at it all day long!
We only had one mishap where Lucas got a hold of one of the antique ornaments and chucked it on the ground where it shattered into a billion pieces! Yeah we were a little more careful after that!
(He also enjoyed eating the ornaments!)
The whole time we were decorating all he could say was WOW! So cute.
He was so helpful and tried to hang all the ornaments himself.
Sorry the picture quality is horrible, no flash in the dark will do that, but I loved the look on his face and loved how cute him and his grandma were together!

Those pictures are so cute. I love ho Lucas will put anything in his mouth. I still remember you taking our pictures and he was gnawing on a piece of wood like it was a lollipop. lol. Nate's mom's tree looks amazing! I love Christmas :)
what an amazingly decorated tree! love these shots and the feeling of warmth they bring. i just got his jeans at gap. (or maybe my mom got them, i can't remember?) ha ha. but i love gap b/c their sized run big so he can wear them for longer, and they last longer than some other pants that he wears holes in so fast. got to love boys, eh?:)
