For St. Patrick's day Lucas and I headed over to my friend Tiff's house to frost some cookies.
I worked hard at baking cookies from scratch and making homemade frosting, and I thought Lucas would think it was so fun!
Well he first wanted a cookie with no frosting and then when it came time to frost them he put on little dollup of frosting on it and said he was all done and that he wanted to go play on the slide.
That's it? I thought it would be at least a half hour of entertainment!
Alli on the other hand LOVED it.
Seriously she was so in to it and had such a look of concentration on her face.
She may have made a mess too, that girl cracks me up!
Lucas spent more time playing with Baby Kate then frosting cookies, silly boy.
At least he likes babies, maybe this transition with baby girl won't be so hard!
It still was fun and the cookies tasted great! Thanks Tiff!

Mmmm. I wish I were eating those cookies right now. Look at you being all domestic and fun! And of course Ali liked them, they were green! I loved hearing those stories about her on Saturday. Hilarious. It was so good to see you too. Hopefully it will happen again soon :)
Happens to me all the time. I think of a great idea, thinking it will be entertaining and i usually fail. I don't know why I don't just stick with a ball and a bucket. They are the best. Funny that I finally get to see a picture of kate beside a newborn on your blog. I hope you are doing well and excited for the new baby.
