Emi turned one!

So I may have gone overboard on her first birthday pictures, but she looked so stinking cute in everyone of them, I couldn't choose.

I really can't believe she is one.

Where did this year go?

I actually got really sad, like crying sad on her birthday.

I don't want her to grow up so fast. I have LOVED every stage with her.

Maybe it's because she is my second and I'm SOOO less stressed about everything.

I have just really really enjoyed her.

She is such a good girl.

She is the fastest crawler ever and knows exactly where she wants to go and what she wants when she gets there. She pulls herself up on everything and walks around all the furniture but hasn't tried to walk by herself (which I'm okay with).

She does get really brave and stands by herself, she has gotten a ton better at balancing the last few weeks and can actually stand by herself for like a minute!

She also loves to tip backward when she is sitting there. She puts her hands in the air and falls back which has resulted in lots of bruised because she doesn't look to see what is behind her before she falls!

She still has only 2 teeth but at the doctor this week she pointed out that all 4 top teeth are on there way! YIKES!

She is still just so petite. She is in the 5 percentile for weight and 50 for height. Lucas has always been 50 percentile for weight and off the charts for height.  She still fits in 0-3 month size shoes. Not sure where her tininess came from but I kind of love it.

Recently a whole new side of Emily has appeared. She is one feisty funny little girl. If you take something that she wants she will let you know that she is mad.

She loves Lucas and he can get her to laugh harder than anyone. He can also make her cry and scream louder than anyone. They have just started kind of playing together and I love it.

Her favorite person of all time though is Mya. She loves that dog so much. Wherever Mya is Emi finds her and climbs on her and lays on her and pats her. She can even say Mya (it sounds more like aya but pretty close!)

Emi loves to play peekaboo and just learned how to pull the blanket over her head and pull it down all by herself. 

She loves to jabber and so far can say uh-oh, mama, mya, and hi.

She loves to sit at the sliding glass door and watch outside and gets so excited when she sees someone she knows! 

She loves her daddy especially when he throws her in the air, she giggles uncontrollably!

She still is a pretty good eater, but is figuring out that she doesn't like some things. When she doesn't like it she pulls it out of her mouth and throws it right to Mya, which isn't helping Mya's weight problem.

My favorite thing is going to get her in the morning. She is usually just laying there patiently waiting for me. I feed her her bottle and then she will just sit and cuddle with me while sucking her thumb. Probably my favorite part of the day because once she is done cuddling she is off and busy the rest of the day!

She has just started to dance and will shake her little bum, pretty stinking cute! She also loves the piano. She reaches as high as she can to push the keys and gets such a kick out of it. She also loves it when Daddy plays the saxophone. She will just sit on the floor by him and listen.

I love when she gets just a little shy she will lay her head down on my shoulder. It is the CUTEST thing ever. It doesn't happen very often but when it does I love it.

She is such a social butterfly and loves to smile and say hi to everyone and is usually pretty willing to be held by anyone and everyone. Not sure why I have such social kids!

Emi you are such a joy and I can't imagine what life would be like without you!
