For Em's party I decided to do an ice cream sundae party.

For Christmas Nate got this awesome ice cream maker that you actually have to churn the ice cream yourself. Nate has been trying out some different recipes so I thought it would be fun to test some out on a crowd. Nate did awesome and made some amazing ice cream.

I found the idea and the printables here. Gotta love pinterest and all of the millions of good ideas you can find!

I found this pink lemonade cake in Better Homes and Gardens magazine and it was delicious. I'm not even going to tell you how much butter was in the frosting.

 

I made Emi her only little mini cake, I think that was my favorite part of her party. It was so cute and little!

Em was just a little overwhelmed by that many people there just for her. She did get pretty excited opening her presents, probably because there were a bunch of kids around her helping her out!

I love that both of my kids so far have dug right into their smash cake! 

 

She was pretty intense just eating away and then started to rub the frosting all over her belly! It was pretty funny. I think she liked it just a little bit.

 

She loves to share!

It was such a fun party and we were lucky to have our family and friends over. I wanted to do it outside but of course it was pouring rain and pretty cold, oh well it didn't ruin our fun! Hope you had a great day Em. We sure love you!
