Another catch up!
We have so enjoyed our yard and new grass this summer.
I think Lucas spends the majority of time outside playing with his friends, did I mention how much I love our neighborhood!
Emi also enjoys it and loves to walk everywhere outside.
Whenever Emily has to go over something she gets nervous and gets down on all fours to cross over it even if it isn't a step! Silly girl.
Lucas' favorite past time is to ride his "weeble wobble" around.
The neighbor boys Cooper and Camden each have one and Lucas had been wanting one for a while. He stole theirs about a million times, so we finally caved and got him one and it has definitely been worth it. These boys are crazy on them.
They go so fast and can stop on a dime. It is seriously dangerous being out on the drive ways or sidewalks when they are riding around!
Lucas also is learning to ride his bike without training wheels. One day Nate decided to just see if he could do it and he totally can!
He still struggles getting started by himself, but once he is going he can do it! So proud of him, he is growing up too fast!
My dear Emily is such a sweet girl. Her new obsessions is books. Several times a day I will realize I don't know where she is at and I can usually find her in her room with the door closed reading a book.
Seriously the cutest thing ever.
The second she wakes up she is asking to read a book with me.
Over Labor Day weekend we headed up to my parents house for one more summer weekend.
The weather was beautiful! We had such a blast.
Emily was loving the playground and the sand. Daddy even decided to bury her in it!
This picture makes me laugh. I coudn't find her anywhere, then I looked more closely at the flowers and found her!
She had her first ice cream cone all to herself and ate every.last.bite. Girl after my own heart!
Lucas also started soccer.
Just doing some stretches I guess??
He is really loving it. He may not be the most aggressive kid on the team but he always has a smile on his face and really tries! He always stops to wave hi to us too!
And lastly back to school (over a month a go!!).
Lucas is in his 2nd year of preschool. He was so excited to go back and so was I!
He comes home so happy everyday but will never tell me what he did.
I ask him every time and he always tells me that it is a secret and he will tell me later.
Silly boy.
When we pick them up from school they have to wait until the teacher sees their ride home and then they can leave. It is hilarious to see how excited they get to run to us! Makes me smile every time!
You are so grown up Lucas I can hardly stand it.

Oh Lucas. I love him. The last pic of him running to you is great! I am impressed with his bike riding skills. Maybe now Nate can help Cooper ;) The soccer pics are great too. He looks so old!
