We went against the pediatricians advice and tried some rice cereal. The first bite was questionable, but by the end I think he got it and it's getting easier and easier. I was actually surprised by how good he did. What a funny little guy he is!

Yeah! I hope that he continues to like it and that it will give you more of a break from nursing and/or help with him sleeping through the night! He is so stinkin cute with those big eyes!

I started putting a little rice cereal in Ellie's evening bottle... I know... can't do that with breast feeding... but she slept perfectly!
It was so fun reading and enjoying the pictures on your blog. What a beautiful family. I wish we still lived up the street from you in good old Ogden so I could see that adorable guy (not you Nate) of yours grow. I was reminiscing about my first child as I read your stories. Hey Brynn! How the heck are ya? Your little Lucas is so stinking cute and has the most beautiful eyes! So we are coming home Dec 12th-Dec26th and then we are flying to Tennessee Dec28-Jan6. I know it sounds crazy, Pete is out for a month so we are taking advantage and going to play a lot during that time. I am also coming home for Thanksgiving but by myself for a week. Let me know what times you were thinking of visiting because I would absolutely love to see you guys! You could stay with me and we could shop and play all day!
