Well it's official, the kid can crawl. Life as we know it has changed. He was already a very curious kid, and now he can travel to whatever thing he is curious about!
He isn't too quick yet, still getting a hang of it, but it won't take much longer.
It has been so funny watching him learn to crawl. He got pretty frustrated for a while there, but he was pretty determined!

We haven't really been up to much, these are just some random life at our house pictures. We were able to have a sweet skiing day last week at good old Beaver Mountain. Nate was nervous to ski on his knee, he hasn't put on skis since he injured it like 3 years ago! He did awesome and was totally back to his normal self. I managed to kind of keep up, and even went off a jump, it was small but Nate said both of my skis were off the ground at the same time. That is huge for me! Of course no camera was taken skiing, too bad, there were some pretty good wipeouts that would make awesome pictures or videos like when I fell and couldn't stop myself from sliding down the mountain. Nate though it looked like fun so he tried to copy me and he really couldn't stop himself! He lost a ski and slid a good 100 ft! Nice job trying to make fun of me!

Oh and the best news, Nate finally has his LPN! He passed the test a few weeks ago and officially started working as one last week.
Congrats buddy boy! Only a few more months left.

Lucas got his first haircut! We know we know, he has no hair to cut, but there were some really long hairs all over his head we had to get rid of.
I can't tell if he was scared or if he liked it!

Aren't my boys so dang cute!

Nate babysat all day today while I was at work, I guess he taught Lucas how to check out hot babes on the internet! Great Nate, isn't he a little young?

I love that last picture. Classic! Anna got her very first haircut Saturday too - they are only, like what, 18 months apart. LOL. Congrats on the crawling. It is great when they can get where they want to go by themselves. You can tell it just makes them so happy. Oh and another congrats to Nate - that is way awesome!

Hooray, he is crawling!!! I knew he was close when you guys were out here! I got your message on facebook and yes, you can come visit me anytime you want. Actually I just lost my job so you are welcome anytime!!! They ended up having to close the gym because of these wonderful economic times. It's been really sad to say bye to all of my kids, but I am trying to remain positive. In the mean time, I am looking for a new job and some crazy amounts of free time.... crazy!!!

hey, i have that same computer:) love it!

hmmm, crawling. congats little man! next thing he'll be running, but i'm sure you've heard that a gazillion times.

as far as the picture book thing goes, yeah i did one. i did it through mypublisher.com. the picture quality was pretty good, i wasn't disappointed. the only thing i wished it had was more pages. (the limit to the book is 100 pgs.) that seems like a lot, but i guess i fill them up fast. i haven't looked into blurb. it might be a better deal for what you get, i don't know. and w/blurb there might not be a page limit number. also with mypublisher, it seems like with their template you're not able to write too much commentary with the pics. you can write some, but i wish there was room to write more.

i'm torn. i want to go with mypublisher again for his 2nd book, so that it will "match" (exterior-wise) with his first year book, but i don't know. i really did like how it turned out though.

sorry for the roundabout answer. i'm sure i didn't help solve anything.

i'm not the best at organing my pics in all honesty. they're everywhere...here, there, and in all sorts of different files. i don't really ever use i photo though. i put them in different folders in "bridge." "bridge" just came with my photoshop program. i don't know if you have that or not?
