Funny kid loves to play catch with his ball (actually I think it is Mya's ball).
Lucas turned 10 months this last weekend!
I can't believe he is almost 1, where does time go?
I don't even remember him being a little baby.
We headed outside to take some pictures this afternoon, he totally makes me laugh!
(yes we do have green carpeted front steps, gotta love em! We have a matching carpeted back patio too, I know your jealous!)
Lucas is such a funny kid, he loves to smile at everyone!
He is getting so close to walking it is scary. Every once in a while when he is standing up by the couch he gets this sparkle in his eye and just starts walking. He usually makes it four or five steps. The best part is that he closes his eyes as soon as he starts walking! I think he is a little nervous about it, why closing his eyes helps I don't know!
He loves to play with your face, especially your lips and he loves it when you make noise while he is playing with your lips. He'll do it to you and then do it to himself and laugh!
He is great at copying what you are doing.
If you yell he yells, if you spit he spits, you get the idea right!
The cutest thing that he has recently started is will crawl up to you and pushes his head up against your head. It is hard to explain and I'm not sure why he does it, but I think it is his way of giving you a kiss. He does it to Mya too! If I pretend like I am crying he crawls over as fast as he can and does it to me. I'll just call it a Lucas kiss!
He loves to be outside and to go on walks.
I though that the grass would freak him out but he loves it, especially to pull out and try to eat!
Lucas loves to watch his baby einstein movies, if we put him down with a pile of cheerios he will chow down on the cheerios and enjoy his show.
We love having this boy around!
I let him play with Nate's lacrosse stick and he was pretty intrigued by it!
Just waiting for the coach to put me in!
ps remember ice cream trucks? I thought that they didn't exist anymore but sure enough I just heard one drive by. Seems a little creepy to me!

We also have an ice cream truck that passes by daily. I always think of Doug on 'King of Queens' when I hear it too :) I can't believe he is going to be one either - man that flew by! I am surprised he likes grass - most kids hate it when they have to crawl on it. Lucas is too funny.

Good to catch up with you and your boy! I loved the astro-turfed steps at the O-town house. I miss them just seeing them in the pics. I love that close up pic of him! Does this kid already have three teeth? Gosh Ava just got her first?! Lucas slow down with this growing thing, your just too cute to grow up.
