It's official, I have my husband back and boy is it good. Nate finally graduated last week! He just has to pass his boards and he is completely done and officially an RN. We couldn't be happier. We haven't known what to do with ourselves having him around all the time.
They had a little graduation at the DATC since Weber State doesn't have commencement until the winter. It took some teeth pulling but I made him at least go to that. (he is so against graduations!)
Now that Nate is done our summer has finally begun and we haven't stopped!
The other night we went down to Jazz on the plaza at the Gateway.
Of course Lucas had to play in the fountain, and then we enjoyed some great music. It finally felt like summer!
Whenever everyone started clapping Luke would stop whatever he was doing and join in and look around with a huge smile on his face!
Last Saturday, Nate gave me the day off and took Lucas all day down to the Nascar event that they had at Larry H Miller Motor Sports Park.
Besides how loud it was (notice the earplugs in Luke's ear) Nate said he enjoyed it.
I think he had more fun just walking around in the dirt then actually watching the race.
The Nascar pictures were all taken by Nate, he's a pretty good little photographer!
That's just the beginning of our activities! I've got much much more to blog about.

CONGRATS Nate & Brynn, too!!!! Yahoooo. The sense of accomplishment is such an awesome feeling to have. I'm glad to hear you're summer is starting now! Ours always starts at the end of August, too. :) Take Care. Love ya.
School can be a long road--I'm excited for you both. It's nice to just be working. Cute pics, glad you guys are having fun. PS in the first pic in the post below Lucas looks just like your dad!

that sounds like the ultimate daddy/son outing! such a good daddy. and i laughed out loud at the last picture. that takes talent, capturing such a moment like that taken by yourself.. :) lol.
