As I sit here listening to the wind blowing and the rain falling, I can't help but feeling so sad!
The weather has actually been nice the last week! I fear that our nice fall days aren't going to last much longer. We did get to take advantage of the weather and went out and participated in some great fall activities.
I talked Nate into heading out west to the Punkinaze. I had heard it was really fun and I knew Lucas would love the slide, and it did not disappoint.
I think we went down the slide like 20 times.
After seeing another family send their small child down by themselves, Nate thought it would be a great idea to do the same with Lucas. He had a pure look of horror on his face on the way down but as soon as he got to the bottom he ran right back to the stairs to do it again. He is a brave little man!

There was a huge bin full of corn and candy that the kids got to dig in. I don't think Luke really understood what was going on but I got some free candy out of it!

We let him loose in the maze and he took off! He didn't care if there was a trail or not, he was out and ready to explore.

He did have to stop for a little snack on the way!

And now for the picture overload. I was having way too much fun! I love my two boys though!

The Punkinaze was a hit and a new family tradition!

I love that Lucas will put anything in his mouth ;) I also love that Nate is popping his head up from behind the slide - like the mean kids who is scared of getting in trouble for pushing the kid down the slide. Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! Great pictures...as usual!

You captured the moments really well. I am getting kind of sad about the cold, too. I love fall but it does seem like winter is coming fast. I can just picture you sending Lucas down the slide--meanies! No jk, obviously it was for the better. Glad he had fun! That corn isn't edible (for humans) is it?

Even though I was prepared for the carrot pic in your previous post, since we'd talked about it at Barb's, it still made me laugh. That thing is huge.

so stinkin' cute. i love the shot of him flying in the air, hoping his daddy will catch him:) that's a great one..

i am feeling like a bad mom today b/c our ward went to the pumpkin patch for playgroup, and i opted not to go because it's pouring rain outside, but now i wish i would have gone despite the rain. maybe i'll take max back on a day with better weather.
