When we woke up this morning there was quite the surprise.
Snow all over our front lawn!
Lucas loved it and kept staring out the window asking what it was.
So I bundled him up and we went to check it out.
Playing in the snow through the eyes of Lucas
What is this stuff? I'm confused.

I think the most logical thing to do is taste it.
(once again those great mothering skills, aren't you supposed to teach them not to eat snow? Or maybe it's not to eat yellow snow!)

I like the texture, it's cold, not much taste. It does have a hint of dirt taste which I seem to really like.

The decision is made, snow is great!

Until I fell down in the snow and realized it's wet and cold. Then I realized my hands were frozen because my mom let me play with snow without wearing gloves.

Yup and those are tennis shoes on, no snow boots yet. Maybe I should have prepared a little better before sending him out into the cold. I think the final verdict was that he liked it since he continued to sit in the window and stare at it all day.
Ready or not winter is arriving!

woah look at your snow! We had a scatter here and there, but overall nothing stuck to the ground. I cant wait to see my kids faces when it does come though! ps. your pics are looking awesome brynn(:
I love these pics. I have yet to get Anna her snow stuff for this year. It is October by the way. Geesh! So I think it is understandable that you didn't have anything for Lucas. It was nice to see you guys again yesterday.
seriously cute beanie! you are hilarious, of course the most logical thing to do is taste it.
ha i love his little face as he tries it...so cute!
beautiful pics as usual! i love peeking in on your blog. and his little jacket is so studly:) i can't believe all the snow everyone is having... so far we've only had rain, but lOTS of it!!
Oh how fun. I love how brave Lucas is and will just jump in. I told Tyler about Lucas getting stuck and grunt "Yeah" in response to you asking if he was stuck. He wasn't quite as funny without Lucas to demonstrate. I'm glad it snowed in Utah while I was there. It made me ready to come back to my sunny Arizona.
These pictures are sweet! He is getting so big!
