Christmas this year was so much fun.
Lucas was a hoot!
While he didn't really grasp the whole concept, he still loved opening presents.
We went up to my parents house in Logan and had Nate's mom come with us. It was so nice not having to worry about going to two families in one day. It was so great having us all together.
Lucas got way more than spoiled, luckily he won't remember it so there won't be any expectations in the years to come.

His favorite gift by far was the set of nerf balls I got him. He found them a few weeks ago (I'm not very good at hiding things) and ran in so excited yelling "WOW BALLS!", sadly we had to take the balls away so I could wrap them for Christmas. When he opened them he was just as excited as the first time! Grandma and Grandpa got him a little basketball hoop to go with the balls and he loves it!

Gotta love the bedhead!

Nate and I were spoiled too and got lots of clothes and other goodies. We also gave each other Rock Band which was an instant hit! I promised not to post the picture but I do have evidence to show that my mother and father joined in on the Rock Band extravaganza. For those of you who know my mom will find this extremely funny, and you'd never guess it but she did awesome. She can totally rock out on the drums! I was so proud.
It was such a great Christmas, thanks family for such a good time!
Today a large snow storm hit, and it hit hard. Luckily we had nowhere to go so we decided to head out and play.

It makes me laugh that it took me 20 minutes to get us ready to go and he only lasted out in the cold for like 10 minutes! Poor kid was freezing to death, he has a hard time walking in it, especially since his boots might be a little too big, so he spends the majority of the time in the snow! But he seemed like he really had a good time, that's all that matters.

See I would rather have a kid that only wants to spend 10 minutes in the stuff. Anna could be hypothermic and she would still want to play and I hate the cold.
You better get better at hiding presents or your kid will be confused that Santa was able to bring him something that was just under your bed a couple of weeks ago. Anna can remember everything I put into a shopping cart for 4 months ago, even if I try and hide it - I swear!
I love his bed head - so cute. I love that your mom played rock band - hilarious. And I am glad you guys had a great Christmas. Ross wanted to get a nerf gun for Evan this year. Seriously. My husband....
All I can say is that if those pictures of lme playing Rock Band ever surface you will be in major trouble. I have my reputation to uphold.
i want to see those pics of your mom. that would make my day. when did your husband get a beard? is this old news? nate you look like your 40 with one, its freaking me out. Ah Christmas with kids is just too much fun, you just wait next year when they start understanding a little more will be even better. Good to catch up with you guys, hope all your christmas wishes came true (;
Nate, I love your beard and grew one in your honor. The growing was coincidental, but I will keep the beard in your honor.
I love these pictures! Love Luke's Christmas morning hair, love that Nate subconciously missed Beardvember and grew one anyway, and love that you guys played rock band all day. Oh an Nate - is that the same blue shirt I picked out for you on our one and only shopping trip together about 7 years ago? If it is I love that too.
looks like a fun christmas! everyone is posting snow pics, and it's kind of making me want a little snow.. here it's just raining... but i'll take that too, i guess. much warmer:) your parents sound awesome! better than pics, post a video of them doing it next time! that would be the bomb.
