Lacrosse season has begun.
Now that Nate is done with school and has a ton more free time he decided to help coach Weber High Schools varsity Lacrosse team.
Lucas and I headed out to watch the first game last week. It was such a pretty day and I was actually pretty impressed with Lucas. He sat and watched a lot of the game and he loved cheering, and not for just Weber. He cheers for everyone!
Of course he had to bring his stick with him and he held on to it for most of the game, what a funny kid.

ps Lucas has figured out how to climb into his crib and is well on his way to figure out how to crawl out. I am completely freaked out about this. Him and a toddler bed do not seem like a good mixture. How do you get a toddler to actually stay in a toddler bed? Any advice?

I changed Makenna into the toddler bed when she went head-first out of the crib and got a bloody nose. Done with the crib. Surprisingly, she was so confused/excited about the concept of getting in and out of bed at her own leisure that I could hardly get her out of it. She would drag all of her toys into bed and as long as she had a few stuffed animals with her, I never had any issues getting her to stay in her bed for nap.
Cut kid. I have never watched a lacrosse game. It looks like an interesting sport. Good luck with the upcoming bed transition! We lucked out with Austin. He still to this day thinks he is stuck in his bed. I hope the same happens with Ava!
Threats. That is what you do. lol. With Anna she loves books, as you probably know. I give her one book (she chooses) at nap and bed time. She can read it quietly to herself or what not, but if she gets off the bed at all, the book gets taken away. I am sure the same would work with a toy. It worked awesome until potty training and then she learned if she said she had to go potty she could get off. Dang kid. But that was a year ago and so now we are back to good.
Oh and GO WEBER! I am stoked to see you Saturday!
somehow we lucked out with max and the bed situation so i dont' have too much advice. he never really got out of his bed at first... he thought it was the coolest thing because we talked it up like, "it's just like mommy and daddy's!" "you're cool like us!" :) haha. he likes to mimic us, so he liked his bed, but as time has gone on sometimes he'll get out of it and will climb in bed with us on occasion. i should probably crack down on this one because i don't like him sleeping with us--he takes up too much room.
lucas has the most beautiful eyes btw.
we'll have to come check out a lacrosse game sometime! lets get together this week..text me what days you're free. my brother is flying in thursday, so lets do something before then
