I love Easter. It has always been one of my favorite holidays.
So since the weather was crappy pretty much all week (we got like 6 inches of snow!)
I planned lots of fun Easter activities.
Thanks Tiff and Alli for participating in two of the 3 activities!
Activity #1 Easter Sugar cookies
Lucas loved the frosting
kind of liked the cookie
and LOVED the cookie dough, seriously as I was rolling them out he would grab whole handfuls and shoved them in his mouth.

Activity #2 Dyeing Easter Eggs
made a huge mess
turned Lucas into a green handed monster
only a few eggs survived
but they loved it!

Alli more enjoyed pouring out the dye on her tray. It was a pretty cool color though!

These were the amazing creations of Lucas and Alli.
So much talent.

Activity #3 Easter Egg Hunt
Since before I was born my family has always gone out to good 'ole Roosevelt Utah to my cousins house for Easter. I really think I've only missed like 3 times in my whole life! We have so much fun playing games, laughing, and eating tons and tons of food.
This year there weren't as many people there but we still had a good time.
Lucas loved finding the eggs
he actually could find them by himself
I think he tripped and fell like 20 times
he got so much candy I don't even know what to do with it
despite the bitter cold it was a lot of fun

Lucas has been on a sugar high all weekend, but we still had a good time!
I realized as I was looking through my camera that I didn't take one picture of anyone else. I was so excited watching Lucas having so much fun that I kind of bypassed everyone else! Sorry and thanks everyone who participated in my great Easter weekend!

Love the pictures - and I think only taking pictures of your kids is quite normal. At least for me it is ;) I don't even want to tell you how much friggin food my mom had - it was insane. I sent all the candy with Ross to work today. I weighed it - over 5lbs. Though 1 lb of it alone was the chocolate bunny he requested. Seriously?!

Fun stuff!! I always realize how many pictures I didn't take when I'm blogging. I notice that no one else is in my pics or I really take as many as I thought I did :) Looks like a fun easter though!! We need to have a movie night, soon!! Oh Nate has a campout Friday, maybe???
