My little boy turns two today.
It has gone by so fast.
I look at him and can't believe that not too long ago he was just a tiny newborn.
Now he is a full-fledged toddler.
Here are a few things about Lucas:
Lucas is such a fun kid. He is so social and loves to be around anyone and everyone.
He is talking so much now usually in 4-5 word sentences. It is so nice being able to communicate with him!
He has such a great memory and will bring up things that happened weeks ago.
He loves to be outside and asks to go outside pretty much every second of the day.
He loves to sleep, he even asks to go to sleep! If I ever have to wake him up from his naps he usually tells me "go away, more nite nite".
He has a love/hate relationship with Mya. He loves to ride her like a horse, and loves to pet her, but when she is trying to steal his food or toys he usually yells "no Mya, go away". I caught him last week sending her to the corner for time out. He also called her a stupid dog the other day (hmmm maybe I should watch what I say!).
He loves his toys and will now sit and play with them by himself for a long time! When I try to go get him to go somewhere or eat dinner he usually begs for "more toys".
He loves his grandparents and gets so excited to see them. If I even mention they are coming soon, he freaks out and won't stop talking about them.
He is always smiling. He smiles at everyone we see and says hi too. It gets kind of embarrassing in the stores when he says hi to everyone we walk by.
Man we love this kid. He definitely tests our patience (a lot more lately), but he really is so fun and makes us laugh a ton.
Nate didn't love that all the pictures of him were in a field of grass and flowers, I guess that isn't manly enough, so I plopped him down on a pile of rocks. Hows that for manly!

What a Ham! These pics are so good Brynn. They capture his little social personality perfectly. Happy Bday little buddy!
You are a wonderful Mom and your pictures are beautiful. Lucas is very luck to have such wonderful parents!
Such a little stud Brynn! You always tell me how much you adore my child, but I'm telling you, your child is soooo dang cute and fun!!! Thanks for spending his birthday with us! We will have to do it again soon!
Happy Birthday Lucas! I feel terrible that I didn't call. I was going to and then it was a crazy day. But I didn't forget it. (like i could ;) ) He is such a cute kid. For reals. He cracks me up. We need to hang out more.
Also, just wait and see if he becomes MORE talkative. Anna says 'hi' to people at the store and the proceeds to tell them each of our names, asks them their name, makes them a 'donut', throws it at them to eat and then asks if they can come over and play. No joke.
