Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Lucas was sooo excited to go trick or treating. He also had a really fun Halloween party at school. Who wouldn't love all the fun activities!
So Lucas never really said what he wanted to be for Halloween, so when I found a cheap costume at Kid to Kid I pretty much bought it and told him that was what he was going to be.
So Lucas was a dragon, and he loved it! He actually wore it around all the time!
Score one for me.
He had to blow fire on everyone! Or just scream in their face!
And Em got to wear the hand me down chicken and if I do say so myself she is the cutest dang chicken in town.
She wasn't so sure about Lucas as a dragon!
We went up to my parents for our annual Halloween dinner and trick or treating.
Their neighborhood is awesome, so many kids out trick or treating.
My dad was even a good sport and dressed up this year. Lucas thought it was awesome that his grandpa was a pirate!
Anyone see a resemblance between my dad and Em? Everyone who knows my dad can't get over how much she looks like him. He gets offended saying it's only because of the double chin and bald head! I do think she looks a lot like him!
On a side note, the little chicken herself is 5 months, yes 5 months old. What the heck, almost a half a year old. I can't stand it.
Her personality is really starting to shine through. She is hilarious.
She makes the cutest little talking noises that melt my heart. She also lets out some really loud yells especially when she is bored and wants my attention!
She is the most pleasant baby ever. Everyone can't believe how smiley she is! Even when she is sick she pulls out a gummy smile for you. She is starting to grab EVERYTHING, especially my hair. I think she is starting to get interested in food too. When we are eating she just stares at you and even starts moving her mouth like she is chewing, it's pretty cute.
When she is tired she gets so slap happy. That's when I can get the best laughs out of her.
She is so interested in everything around her, she is quite the observer.
We love her so much!

I love the costumes! Emily totally looks like your Dad, and even though your dad rocks, I don't find him as adorable as Emily. lol.
